Recessed Mounted Screens For Large Openings

Phantom’s Motorized Screens for large openings allow you to enjoy your space without having to worry about insects or the glare of the mid-day sun. There when you need them and out-of-sight when you don’t, these large motorized screens help you make the most of your home’s outdoor spaces and extend the time spent outside. Our recessed application allows you to hide the roller in a cavity at top and recess side tracks into posts or columns.


Phantom motorized retractable screen fits single openings as large as 40 feet wide and 16 feet tall; it is an ideal screen for commercial and residential renovation and construction projects.

Phantom’s wide range of mesh options help you make any space a more comfortable and attractive living environment. Mesh options for large openings include insect protection, natural ventilation, increased privacy, improved daylight, and solar heat control.

The mesh openness factor determines the amount of heat, light, and air that enters a room. A more open fabric allows the breeze and heat to enter the living space, while tighter meshes block more sunlight and keep the space cooler.

Premium Insect Mesh

Ideal where insects are a problem, this mesh type reduces up to 55% of UV rays. Insect mesh also features a higher openness factor, thereby allowing ventilation and visibility to the outside.

Privacy Mesh

Available in multiple colors, this mesh type blocks up to 90% of UV rays. Thicker weaves provide extra solar protection and added privacy.

Service & Maintenance

Proper maintenance of your screen will ensure longevity of the screen. Dirt and debris are a way of life, if you mesh gets dirty, you may wipe it down with a damp cloth. By keeping your screens retracted in its housing when not in use with will preserve and extend the life of the mesh.
